"I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;" Isa 42:6

I believe that Jesus Christ in all of his glorious attributes, both as GOD and man, in his work of redemption, circumscribe and sums up the the only saving Covenant of GOD.

It is a covenant of simplicity for poor sinners chosen by free grace from the foundation of the world, purposed and conceived by God the Father, eph1vs11, accepted and fulfilled by GOD the Son, psalm89vs19, Isa 42vs20, Isa 53vs11,12, Jon 17vs4, and 19vs30, and effectually applied by God the Holy Spirit, Jer31vs32-34, Ezek 36vs24-27.

I believe that hid in Christ are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and that the whole of GOD's eternal purpose being hid in him from before time, can only be obtained through a knowledge of the Savior of the covenant, Jesus Christ. This is that treasure that the apostle spoke of, 2cor 4vs7, which is to be transported throughout the world, and disseminated, by his chosen servants, made faithful to preach, not themselves, but Christ Jesus the LORD.

I believe the preaching of the Gospel of GOD's free and Sovereign grace in Christ is the revelation of that covenant. And as a light that shineth in a dark place, when Christ is made known to be a Magnificent Mediator, a Royal Redeemer, a completely Successful Savior, and a Living Ruling and Reigning Lord, then gentiles who sit in darkness will see a great light, and the daystar will arise in their hearts, and they all shall be taught of GOD, and come unto Christ, as the covenant demands.

I believe the message of Christ is the new testament given to his servants who have been made able ministers of the Spirit, by which men and women dead in trespasses and sins are quickened to life and faith in the Son of God and made partakers of his divine nature through the Hope of the gospel. 2cor3vs6. Romans 8vs2 Gal 3vs2.

I believe the simplicity of this gospel covenant is the condescending mercy of a transcendent GOD, who chose in his infinite wisdom to meet us in our simplicity and ignorance, who by nature cannot comprehend the things of GOD without the assistance his gracious Holy Spirit. Jon 14vs6 16vs13, 1cor 2vs13-14.

I believe the devil has from the beginning been engaged in corrupting and polluting the plainness of this covenant, by retaining sinners in darkness, by shrouding this covenant, by the timber and wood of false religious systems 2cor4vs3-4, 2tim 3vs5, and Dan 7vs25. "And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time."

The souls of men and even some of GOD'S people are made weary by the doctrines and teachings of men that are not after Christ, designed to keep them from Christ, by catering to the idolatrous passions and superstitious propensity of our fallen nature, through rituals, ceremony, sacraments, rules and regulations of men, traditions, observances of holy days-so called, Matt 15vs9, col 2vs16,17; so that for many, Christ is of none effect .

Dispensationalism is an arm of the flesh which completely denies the finality of the cross, the effective rule of the Savior from heaven, and the clarity of the scriptures. Heb 9vs28

Humanism which is the father of freewill works religion, and is found popular in almost every quarter of the world and is the damnable delusion of Christendom, is perdition and is drawn from the veins of him who savors the things of men and not the things of GOD, which was the blueprint for the ancient tower of Babel, and is rediscovered in our present day mystery babylonian religion. Gen chapt 11vs1 "And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.". See also 2thess 2vs3-12

The cause of this resurrected enemy of GOD which is certain to be knocked down once more and permanently destroyed when Christ returns, is the sleeping rulers of the church, who do the work of the LORD deceitfully, who hold back their sword from blood, who love to sleep and will not bark, and while men sleep, the enemy sows the tares of lies and partial truths to deceive, if it were possible even the very elect. These men are hirelings, liberal theologians, men of corrupt minds, without faith. Jude 16-19, Dan 8vs12, 1tim4vs1-2, and 2tim4vs3-4.

These seek to corrupt the simplicity of the Gospel and wear out the saints of the most high.

But more! Our present day evangelicals put a thousand stumbling blocks in front of sinners to keep them from Christ by their charismatic confusion, falling down backwards, slain in the spirit (demonic) unholy laughter, lying signs and wonders, ego catering chaos, and several systems of works righteousness, from dress codes to baptism, to confessions and decisions, and special prayer, and submission to special men of god, all designed to weary the saints and corrupt the simplicity of the covenant.

What is my suggestion to this madness ?

Start with Christ. Stay with Christ. Finish with Christ!

If Christ isn't enough nothing will be.

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Mt 11:28.
