“Great minds talk about God”

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

It has been said, that small minds talk about people. Average minds talk about things. But great minds, great minds? Talk about God! 1cor 2:2

Listen to the Psalmist! My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer. Ps 45:1

That, is what our Savior is teaching! This precious pearl dropped by Jesus Christ to the Church, is an invariable plumb line, telling on us, through our general conversation, what is the chief preoccupation of our affections, and ultimate desire. Col 3:1,2

Are you eyes to the blind? Do you illuminate the common darkness prevalent in your neighbor, co-worker, friend or relative, when engaged in conversation? They walk in darkness, and need, if not want, answers, to the problems of life. And they already know and are well acquainted with the foolish wisdom of the World. Of course God has to do it. But he uses His people. When they are full of the matter. The Word dwelling richly in the heart, meditated upon and rightly divided, becomes for the child of God, an answer.

Listen to the Psalmist, again; Let thy mercies come also unto me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy word. 42 So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word.

43 ¶ And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.

The 119^th division is an exaltation of and declaration of the efficiency and sufficiency of the Word of God to meet the needs of the believer in all situations.

My friend , Christ is the answer. The light of the world, the wisdom of God, the power of God, to all believing . And He is made known to us, through His Word. Rom 10:17. And we make Him known to others, through words. John 17:19,20

So be encouraged, to read, study, and “receive the engrafted word of God” And know that this truth, is what God the Father does in speaking to us. For His heart has always been full of Christ his Son.

And we know Him, because His heart has been revealed to us! No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. John 1:18
